Will you hold it outside in the garden, at a community centre, or at work with your colleagues, or will it be a virtual bake sale from home?
Who will you invite?
And what will be on the menu? Consider crowd pleasers like cupcakes and brownies or something more adventurous like our VE Day inspired recipes.

Planning ahead is crucial to give your invitees plenty of time to get it in their diaries!

We recommend setting up a JustGiving page and taking cash donations or bank transfers on the day. You can then add your donations into your own fundraiser yourself and easily see how much you've raised, in one place.

Shout about your bake sale across social media, on WhatsApp, via email, or across the water cooler at work! Consider asking your employer to pop it in the newsletter or put a flyer up in your local community hall.

Think about how you'll decorate your table and arrange your goods on the day for maximum impact, as well as for those all important social media pictures.
Consider any signage you'll need and how much you'll charge for each item.

Send a personalised thank you note or message to everyone who took part to let them know how much their contribution means to you.
