Bulldogs Boxing and Community Activities

Why does the Veterans' Foundation support Bulldogs Boxing and Community Activities?

Bulldogs Boxing and Community Activities offers gym membership for free to anyone who has served in the British Armed Forces as part of its commitment to the veterans’ community. Based in Port Talbot, Wales, the centre is so much more than a boxing club, Bulldogs is a community that inspires courage, respect and unity. In addition to access to equipment for fitness, there is a deeper relationship with veterans and every week Bulldogs hosts an Armed Forces Drop-In.

This is well supported and is a great opportunity for those who have served to meet and share stories. As Bulldogs partners with many support agencies through its work with other sectors of the community, veterans can also access these relationships and find assistance for issues such as employment and training. Bulldogs Boxing also works with schools and young offenders.

How you can support the Veterans' Foundation

The Veterans’ Foundation has provided grants to hundreds of UK-based military charities and organisations since its inception in 2016. It is dedicated to distributing funding to where it is most effective and millions of pounds have been given to projects that have a positive impact on British veterans, and their dependents, in need.

If you’d like to become of a supporter of the Veterans’ Foundation you can do so by making a donation, by fundraising, by leaving something to Veterans' Foundation in your will or by joining the Veterans’ Lottery. Thank you.
