Find out who's won £7,000 in the latest Veterans' Lottery prize draw

October 15 2025

The £7,000 first prize in the September Veterans’ Lottery draw has been won by a lady who knows how important it is to support those who served.

Victoria’s father and grandfather both served in the British Army and she started playing the Veterans’ Lottery because she feels it’s her duty to give something back to those who served because she acknowledges that there’s a huge gap in the support veterans receive when they leave the armed forces and make the transition to civilian life.

“I come from a military family so I’ve always had a deep understanding of what sacrifices our veterans make and the challenges they face both during and after service,” said Victoria.

“Our servicemen and women are tragically abandoned when they leave the military, which is really sad and should never happen.

“Military charities build a vital bridge into civilian life and this is the reason I play the Veterans’ Lottery.

“I know my £10 a month is helping support so many smaller charities which are doing vital work to support veterans and their families and this gives me a great deal of pride.”

Victoria has been playing the Veterans’ Lottery for just over a year and signed up after watching one of the many inspiring interviews published across the VF social media platforms.

She admits that she’s never played to win, but the £7,000 first prize is going to make a big difference to her and her husband.

“We are celebrating our wedding anniversary so this win will mean that we can do this in style,” Victoria continued.

The second prize in the September Veterans’ Lottery draw went to Claire from Coventry who won £3,500.

*The Veterans’ Lottery is now the largest single-charity and is a key funding stream for the Foundation’s grant programme.

If you would like to be in with a chance to win up to £75,000 you can sign up to play the Veterans’ Lottery today.
