Latest Veterans’ Lottery results revealed

April 19 2021

Forty-two lucky Veterans’ Lottery players are celebrating after landing cash prizes in this month’s draw!

Leigh, from South Gloucester, was the biggest winner – scooping the £5,000 top prize.

Also in the money was 73-year-old Patrick who landed second prize – a very welcome £2,000.

Patrick, from Ironbridge, joined up to the Veterans’ Lottery in December 2019 after seeing an advert on Facebook.

“I’ve always admired all those who join our Armed Forces and fully appreciate the sacrifices they all make, especially those that pay the ultimate price,” said Patrick, whose father and younger brother both served in the Army.

“The Veterans’ Lottery is a great way of supporting our heroes.”

When Patrick got the call from the Veterans’ Foundation team to inform him that he’d been lucky, he couldn’t believe it – and he was soon planning what to do with his winnings.

“I was gobsmacked,” he added. “It was a real bolt from the blue!

“I haven’t really thought about what I’m going to do with the money but now things are starting to open up after lockdown, I’ll probably treat myself.”

Alongside the first and second prize winners, a further 40 lucky Veterans’ Lottery players each picked up £120.
