I've met countless veterans over the years, and while every story is different, one thing has always stayed with me: leaving the Armed Forces doesn't always mean leaving the battles behind.
For many, the challenges begin after service. Whether it's mental health, housing, employment or isolation, finding the right support at the right time can make all the difference.
That's why I'm proud to be an ambassador for the Veterans' Foundation.
As the charity celebrates its 10th anniversary, I've been reflecting on what supporters have helped make possible. Behind every grant is someone rebuilding their life, a family finding hope or a local grassroots charity able to provide vital support when it's needed most.
I've recorded this short film to share why this work means so much to me, and why I believe the next decade matters just as much as the last.
I've seen the difference the Veterans' Foundation makes, and I know there's still so much more to do. I hope you'll stand with me and with every veteran whose life has been changed because someone chose to care.
Over the coming weeks we'll be inviting supporters to be part of a special anniversary moment. I'd love you to join us as we celebrate everything that's been achieved - and everything still to come.
