Congratulations to our latest Veterans’ Lottery winner, Glynis Stoney, who bagged August’s top prize.
The 61-year-old won £100 on the Veterans’ Lottery back in February 2019, but this time she scooped the biggest prize of the 42 on offer each month, landing £5,000 in last month’s draw.
After both her father and husband served in the Navy, Alford-based Glynis has close ties with the British Armed Forces and by playing the Veterans’ Lottery, she is supporting those who have served, just like her family.
Based in Alford, Lincolnshire, Glynis was thrilled to have won the first prize and already has big plans for her windfall, with a new bathroom on the horizon.
The lucky second prize winner and taking home £1,000 was 59-year-old Ian Robertson of Boston, completing the Lincolnshire double in August’s draw.
Not only that, but 40 further players now have an extra £120 in their bank accounts after August’s draw through winning one of the 40 third prizes on offer each month.
Players of the Veterans’ Lottery have now contributed to an incredible £11.5 million in grants that have been given to over 340 different UK-based military charities.
You can play your part in continuing this amazing support for our Armed Forces veterans in need by signing up to play the Veterans’ Lottery today.
If you are already a player, don’t forget that you can have up to FIVE different entries and maximise your chance to win the £50,000 rollover jackpot in the next draw!
Thank you for your loyal support.
