A huge congratulations to Victoria Wingfield, who scooped the £7,000 first prize in the April's Veterans’ Lottery draw.
Victoria becomes the first winner of the new £7,000 top pot since the Veterans' Lottery supercharged its prizes in March.
Hull-based Victoria was delighted with her big win and the money will allow her to do some home improvements.
Another beneficiary of the new boosted prizes was Kerry Innes, who received a nice surprise in the shape of the £3,500 second prize in her bank account.
Kerry's inspiration for playing was that she feels strongly about helping veterans and not enough is done for them, so much so that Kelso-based Kerry said that she even wanted to donate some of her winnings back to charity.
Congratulations to Kerry, and to the other 80 players who all bagged the handy £120 third prizes in April's draw.
Remember, the Veterans' Lottery prizes have been boosted this year and are now as follows:
- First Prize: £7,000
